Little kids who are curious about piano and music. 

High school students who took classical piano lessons when they were little, but started feeling the urge to expand their musical experience towards rock and pop music.

Mothers and fathers, who played instruments back in the day, but want to revisit their passion for music.

Those who have been enjoying listening to jazz but want to venture out and learn to improvise and play tunes.

ジャンルによってアプローチ方法は違います。

クラシック音楽をポップスの考え方で弾こうとしてもどこかで無理が出て来ますし、ジャズをクラシックの弾き方で弾いてもジャズには聞こえません。

学び方も、まずは基礎をしっかりした方がいい方もいれば、いきなり弾きたい曲に入ってしまった方がどんどん弾ける方もいます。

既存のラーニングシステムを使用する提案をさせていただくこともありますが、一人一人に合ったレッスンの進め方を一緒に考えます。

How to approach music is different for each person. For instance, playing classical pieces with a pop music approach might not be the best approach to achieve the beauty and complexity of classical music. Also, playing jazz in a classical manner might not feel right. 

How to learn to play instruments also varies. Some people are comfortable to start from the basics, and the others want to dive in immediately by jumping in with both feet.

We might suggest to start with certain methods such as  Faber and Faber, Bastien or Alfred (these are very popular methods in the States), but first and foremost, what is more beneficial for the student is very important. We will find the approach that works best for you.
